Today 14TH of August marks the 56th birth anniversary of a mother who sacrificed six of her sons for the sake of Allah, a mother considered as the flag bearer of resistance not only in Nigeria, but in Africa.

Since after Zaria pogrom in December, 2015, which left 1000+ innocent Nigerians either killed or injured, several campaign of calumny was insinuated by the perpetrators to cover their heinous crime against humanity. On the other hand campaign of free Zakzaky was launched by members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) and other patriotic citizen to inform the world what actually transpired between the IMN and the Nigerian Army in December, 2015.
A court in Saudi Arabia has sentenced distinguished Shi'a cleric Ayatollah Sheikh Hussein al-Radhi to 13 years in prison as the Riyadh regime presses ahead with its heavy-handed crackdown on members of the religious community.
The Specialized Criminal Court in Riyadh passed the ruling on the 66-year-old clergyman on Thursday, Arabic-language and independent Yemenat news website reported.
Iranian pilgrims intending to visit Iraq for Arbaeen can start applying for visa within the next couple of days, an official said.
The registration of visa applicants planning to visit Iraq for Arbaeen will begin by the end of the current Iranian month, which falls on August 22, Mohsen Nezafati, an official at Iran's Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization told Tasnim.
He also noted that all Iranian pilgrims will have to submit an application through a designated website.
