In continuation of this year's activities on Imam's week Kano chapter hosted three guest speakers who gave lectures on aspects of the revolution of Imam Khomeini (QS) after iftar and prayers on Saturday 3rd June, 2017 at Kano Husainiyya Kofar Waika, Kano. Sheikh Sunusi Abdulqadir Kano dwelt on the 'Fikra' of the Imam which he said was unique. He lamented that Imsm has built bridges not only within Shiah population but also globally between Shiah and Sunnah and between Muslims and non Muslims.

Prelude to the Unfolding Nightmare:
The Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Mr. Garba Shehu, recently issued a statement on behalf of the Presidency justifying the illegal detention of Sheikh Ibraheem Elzakzaky and his wife, Malama Zeenah Ibraheem. Spokesperson of President Buhari hinges their illegality on fear factor when he said "the fear of the government was that there would be a breakdown of law and order if Mr. Zakzaky was allowed to go home.
Most of the events that are taking place today are such issues. There is a world of difference between a fair, impartial and humane judgment, and the biased and malevolent judgment of westerners, their politicians and their propaganda apparatuses. An example is the issue of Bahrain. Another example is the issue of Yemen. Another example is the issue of Syria.

The Presidential spokesman Garba Shehu has stated on Tuesday while addressing State House correspondents on the success made by Muhammadu Buhari administration since coming to power in 2015 that the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky is still in detention for his own safety.
The Nigerian Police force tried to stop free Zakzaky protest fin Abuja, the Nigerian capital today the 22nd of may 2017. The protesters, marched to the Headquarters of the National Human Right Commission (NHRC), calling on the commission to do something about the impingement of right and freedom of Sheikh Zakzaky,
his wife and hundreds others in detention for over a year without trial. At the end of the protest, the protesters issued a press statement.
