National Police of Niger arrested 21 members of the IMN in Maradi, Niger Republic

The National police of Niger have arrested some members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) in Maradi, Niger Republic on Saturday after the members staged a peaceful protest demanding the immediate release Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H).

The police have fired teargas on the peaceful protesters and later on arrested 18 members of the movement including women, the following day, 2 additional brothers were arrested when they went to visit the earlier arrested members, the other brother was arrested differently, making the number of the arrested members to be 21.
