More than 15 Million to participate in Arbaeen Symbolic trek in Nigeria

More than 15 million lovers of Imam Husain (a.s), are expected to participate In the ongoing symbolic voluntary Arbaeen trek across Nigeria and Neighbouring Niger Rep. The trek will be started from Kano and environs axis on Thursday 26 of November Followed by Pambegua axis which comprises of Plateau, Bauchi,Gombe Adamawa Taraba and Nasarawa State, followed by Funtua axis which comprised Katsina, Sokoto,Zamfara, Kebbi and Neighbouring Niger Rep,the following axis are that of Kaduna, Birnin Gwari, and Gadar Gayan. The trek is growing year after year despite various security threats from various angles, the trek boasted people from all walks of life, old and young, rich and poor.
The symbolic trek will be rounded up on Wednesday 2nd December at Hussainiyyah Baqiyatullah Zaria, at which the leader of Islamic movement in Nigeria Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky will deliver a lecture on the tragedy of Ashura and current state of affairs over the world. The trek as we all know is symbolic and voluntarily motivated, no one makes it obligatory on anybody to trek, and the trek is all embracing and free. On the part of the participants they are engaged on mass awareness of public on the truth of why and how-ness of the tragedy of Ashura and subsequent oppressions and tyranny suffered by the family of the most noble prophet (s.a.w.a) in history, various activities from dramatic display, poems, songs, articles and other things targeting public will be carried out.
Wednesday 2nd December 2015 is the day of Arbaeen in all parts of the world, in Karbala alone more than 30 million people are expected to mark world must largest and peaceful gathering to commemorate the fortieth day of martyrdom of Imam Husain (a.s) in the plains of Karbala on 61st year A.H.
