IMN members continue the protest against the illegal detention of its Leader Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H)
Members of the IMN continue to show their protest on the illegal detention of its leader His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Yaquob El Zakzaky (H) who has been in detention since December, 14th 2015 despite a Federal High court order ordering his release since December 2016. Today Friday March 31st, 2017 after Friday prayers in Kano and Yola cities the protest was marked by a protest rally and in Kaduna city it was a protest march calling for the unconditional release of Sheikh Zakzaky (H) and reiterating the government should obey the court order demanding his release and that of his wife Malama Zenatuddeen Ibrahim as well as paying 25 Million Naira and building a house at any location of his choice. Malan Sunusi AbdulKadir Koki in Kano spoke at Kano rally voicing out the dismay of IMN members and peace loving advocate that reject all form of oppression against the atrocities of Nigerian Army killing 345+ followers of Sheikh Zakzaky (H) in the December 2015 Zaria Massacre apart from many that are yet to be seen. He also reiterated IMN will stand by its right to resist any form of injustice and oppression, while extending prayers to the Almighty for his divine intervention in freeing Sheikh Zakzaky (H). Sheikh Zakzaky (H) his wife and many of his followers after the Zaria December 2015 carnage have been in detention in different location in Nigeria with some taken to court on flimsy charges with Sheikh Zakzaky and some of his followers under poor health condition and not given proper medical attention.
