FREEDOM FOR ZAKZAKY AND OBEY THE COURT ORDER PROCESSION HELD IN BAUCHI BY AFIMN BAUCHI

DESPITE COURT ORDER, BUHARI REFUSES TO RELEASE SHEIKH IBRAHEEM ZAKZAKY
As many people foolishly deride members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the leadership of Shiek Ibraheem Zakzaky as lawless people who do not respect the laws of the land, the Nigerian government on the other hand has, beyond any iota of doubt, shown its disdain for the judiciary as it refuses to heed court's order that Zakzaky be released and compensated for his illegal detention for more than a year. Despite the persecution of his followers, despite the massacre of more than a thousand followers of Zakzaky, the Nigerian government is still silent on the issues and not a single person was brought to book which adds credence to our belief that Nigerian government is surreptitiously conniving with the security forces to persecute us. It is simply puerile to accuse people whose members are being killed and detained every day of being lawless when the same accuser, the government bypasses the laws without taking into consideration the fact that a leader leads by example not by bluffing. We, followers of Zakzaky, have taken to the streets today to vent our spleen over government's reluctance to obey court orders. We will not relent protesting until Zakzaky is released and justice is done to our members. Musa Bayi Muhammad AFIMN Bauchi Chapter afimn14@gmail.com
