Education committee held a day seminar in Kano +Pictures

Educational committee of the Islamic movement in Nigeria,
held a one day seminar on Sunday 4th May, 2014 at markaz Islamiy,
Kano.
The theme of the seminar was “Towards better moral ethics and
intellectual development of the society; the role of stake holders.”
The sub-themes include;
“The responsibilities of the school Principal or Headmaster in running
the affairs of the school”.
“The contribution of teachers in imparting knowledge and inculcating
good morals”
“Overview of the mandate and operational structure of the education
committee of the Islamic movement in Nigeria”.
“Observations, Discussions and Resolutions of the participants”.
“Closing remarks by Shiekh Muhammad M Turi.
The resource persons who deliberated on the topics were Mal Balarabe
Gwarzo, a seasoned Principal, Dr Sufuyanu Shuaibu Sara of ATBU Bauchi
and Mal Usman Muhammad. Mal Nura Musa Mafara from the National
secretariat of the Education committee made delibrations on the
mandate and opertation of the educational committee.
Mal Mukhtar Haruna Dunari, Mal Aminu Muhammad Maigatari and Mal Yusuf
Abdullahi introduced the guest speakers.
In his closing speech at the seminar Shaikh Muhammad Turi lamented on
the poor state of educational in the country that have deteriorated in
all aspect, and reiterated that the main objective of setting the
education committee is to bring about change in the sorry state.
Sheikh Turi also urged participants and other members of the lajna to
volunteer and devote part of their time to teach appropriate subjects
in our various Fudiyya schools.
Before the discussions on the various topics, Mal Muhammad Isa Ahmad
made an opening remarks on the aim and objectives of the seminar.
Dauda Nalado made the vote of thanks and closing prayers were offered
by Shaikh Muhammad Turi.
