WHY WE COMMEMORATE THE 25th JULY MASSACRE

The 25 the of July 2014 is a remarkable and historic date in the history of the Islamic movement in Nigeria. It was a day when people around the world engaged in mourning for humanity sake.
On the 25th July 2014, like all previous years, members of the Islamic in Nigeria participated in the annual Quds procession, to show a total support for the oppressed people of Palestine. Quds procession is a constant annual programme of the movement in existence for the past 30 years.

Remembrance of 2014 Quds Day Martyrs in Zaria amidst Security operatives

The Islamic Movement in Nigeria marked martyrs of Quds 2014 who were killed on 25th of July 2014 by Nigerian Soldiers in Zaria. The remembrance day was marked at Darur Rahma cemetry amidst presence of security operatives deployed to disrupt it in vain. The occasion was attended by large number of people from far and near. 

Sheikh Kasimu Umar Sokoto and Sheikh Abdulhameed Bello were among the speakers during the annual event. The security men fired some shots in the sky with the view to disperse the gathering. however, the programme was successfully completed.

Education Committee Conference Wraps up in Kano

Conference organized by the Education Committee of the Islamic Movement took place at Husaniyyah Kano from Saturday the 22nd to Sunday the 23rd of July 2017. The theme of two day is: Globalization; Interactive sessions with students of foreign universities.

The speakers include prof Isa Hasan mshelgagru, Dr Nuru Azare, Mallam Ibrahim Akil, Sheikh Yaqoub Yahaya among others. Those in attendance are students of IMN studying in Iran, Lebanon, Iraq, Ghana, Sudan, Mali and Burkina Faso who spoke of their experiences in their respective countries.

PRESS STATEMENT : We vehemently reject Federal government's move to confiscate our Islamic Centre in Zaria

Yesterday 20/07/17, soldiers of the Nigerian Army were spotted giving cover to labourers hired by the government to fence the plot where our Hussainiyyah (Islamic center) stood before its destruction by the Military during its genocidal onslaught in December 2015. The Kaduna State Urban Planning & Development Agency (KASUPDA) and its officials however are claiming ignorance of the development at the site when contacted.

The Goals and Objectives of Islamic Movement in Nigeria

It is important to note that the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) under the leadership of His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky is not a Shia organization in Nigeria and other West African counties. Spreading Shia Islam is not among the goals and objectives of IMN as the Movement rejects sectarianism. The Movement accepted all the school of thoughts of Islam and believes that Muslims should be allow the freedom of choosing the school of thought they want to belong.

Iran's Judiciary should support the repressed Sheikh Zakzaky, Muslims of Myanmar & Kashmir: Ayatollah Khamenei

The Judiciary branch should legally intervene in issues, such as sanctions, confiscations by the US, and terrorism; furthermore, they should support oppressed figures and people of the world, like Sheikh Zakzaky, and the Muslims in Myanmar and Kashmir, firmly declaring support or opposition so that it would be reflected throughout the world.
Honoring the week long occasion of Iran's National Judiciary Branch, government heads and officials within the branch met with Ayatollah Khamenei this morning July 3, 2017.
