RE: LEAVE GEN BURATAI AND OUR MILITARY ALONE

By Harun Elbinawi

My attention was drawn to a sponsored piece in Daily Trust Newspaper of 19th January, 2016 by one imaginary figure tagged Mohammed Laden (definitely not a real name). It is important to note that the one that paid huge amount of money to sponsor this piece is the same one that sponsored all the Advertorials by the Nigerian Army. The goal and objective is one and the same and that is to cover and bury a brutal war crime that killed 1000+ defenseless Nigerians in Zaria. I will, InshaAllah, address some of the points raised for the sake of setting records straight.

ZARIA CARNAGE: THE CONFUSED GOC

With the participation of only few participants in other word some selected first class enemies of the Islamic movement in Nigeria and Sheikh Zakzaky in particular.

I still was busy eating pretending and trying to ignore her, as a trained teacher I have learned not to ignore question especially that of youngster, but that is a million Dollar question that is begging for answer(s) from various quarters including the killers themselves.

As the North Tilts Towards a Precipice.

By Aliyu Smith Almusawi

As the north burns, I wish our Islamic clerics had understood that the ongoing efforts to conceal the monstrosity of the Zaria massacre is fruitless and it is bound to ricochet. I wish our Islamic clerics would come to terms with the fact that the north has had enough of killings and genocidal resorts to anything that could be solved via diplomacy and consultation.

Zaria Massacre: Much Ado About Buhari

Sometimes, a tragedy occurs not because the odds are against you, but because God wants to free your mind from the shackles of intellectual vacuity. The Zaria massacre has completely changed my perspective in ways I never imagined.
