A Glance at the Life of Imam Ridha (A.S.)

Imam Ridha (A.S.), the eight shining star in the sky of Imamat was born in Medina on 11, Zilqadh 148 A.H. / 29 Dec, 765 A.D.
His beloved father Imam Musa-ibn-Jafar (A.S.) named him Ali. He was divinely entitled al-Ridha (meaning that Allah and His messenger were deeply pleased with him) and his agnomen was Abul Hasan.
His grand era of Imamat began from 183 A.H. when he was thirty five years old and he held that divine position for about twenty years.

Miracles of Imam Ali Ar-Reza (a.s) – a poetic tribute Imam Ali bin Musa Ar-Reza (a.s.) was born on 11 Dhol-Qada … he was the eighth infallible successor of Prophet Muhammad (s.w.w.). Holy city of Mashhad, Iran, houses his holy shrine.

FINAL DAY OF THE ANNUAL SEMINAR ORGANIZED BY THE YOUTH FORUM OF THE ISLAMIC MOVEMENT IN NIGERIA AT BAUCHI

Today 23rd August 2015, mark the last day of the event that was organized by the Youth Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria held in Bauchi.

On Sunday 23rd August 2015, a Drama (Tamsiliyya) was presented at the event on the topic: Youth good morals at home and outside to both genders. Immediately after, Ittihadush Shu’arah presents various songs especially that of Imam Ridha (AS) “ALI MAULANA RIDHA”.

Theme: Toward Ideological Enrichment of the Islamic Activist

The event was organized to take place at Bauchi Games Village hall with a lot of participant attended from various states of Nigeria.

Some of the scholars were invited from within Nigerian States, and some have presented their lectures as you can see from the pictures.

Birth of Sayyida Fatimah Ma'asumah (s.a)

After the martyrdom (Shahadat) of our 7th Imam Musa al-Kadhim (as), his son and our 8th Imam Ali ar-Ridha (as) took care of his family and his sisters. Bibi Fatima al-Masooma loved her brother immensely [similar to the love of Bibi Zainab (sa) towards her brother Imam Husayn (as)].
In 200AH Mamoon Rashid, the Abbasid caliph called Imam Ali ar-Ridha (as) to Khorasan from Medina and no family member was allowed to accompany him. Bibi Fatima al-Masooma missed her brother very much and left Medina for Khorasan, Iran.

Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky(H) Visits Mleeta, Lebanon.

Being the first of its kind, this place carves the memory of a continual stage in the history of Lebanon. This is a natural museum, surrounded by the captivating nature and mountains. Its aim is to preserve the places where the Mujahideen lived, giving people the chance to be acquainted with the style of the unique experience of the Islamic resistance against the Israeli enemy, since its occupation of Beirut in 1982.

Martyrdom of Imam Jaafar Sadiq (a.s)

Imam Jafar Sadiq (A.S) was the sixth Imam of Shiate world. He attained martyrdom on the 25th Shawwal 14 A.H.
During the Caliphate of Abu Jafar Mansoor Abbasi. Imam Sadiq (A.S) lived until 65 years. He had the longest life amongst the other eleven Imams (A.S). Thus, he is also called as the Sheikh – ul – Aimue.
