longer concerned with the so-called "rules of

Zaria Quds Day Killings: Nigerian students press for justice

Nigerian students from various tertiary institutions across the country converged in Abuja on Monday to demand for justice over the brutal killing of 34 people, mostly students, by Nigerian soldiers during Quds Day procession in Zaria on July 25, last year.

 

Organized by the Academic Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, the students carrying placards with different inscriptions peacefully marched to the Headquarters of National Human Right Commission (NHRC) where they presented complaint of delayed justice six months on.

 

Zaria Maulud Khatmah: Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky tasks Muslims on unity

Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky says there was never a time when unity of the Muslim Ummah was more paramount than now when enemies are all out against it.

 

He made the statement at the grand finale (Khatmah) of the birthday of the Holy Prophet in Zaria and environs, which took place at the Zaria City Juma’at Mosque on Saturday.

Profile of a genius kid Qur’an memorizer

At the concluded graduation ceremony of Qur’an memorizers from Fudiyyah Schools in Kano on Sunday, a nine-year-old genius young Qur’an memorizer, Yasir Lawan, was presented where he demonstrated unprecedented extra-ordinary intellectual capability before the Special Guest, His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and also witnessed by thousands of spectators.

Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky faults government’s neglect of education, condemns blasphemous publication

Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky says the falling standard of education in Nigeria was as a result of government’s lack of interest in the sector and misplacement of priority.

He made the statement at the Qur’anic graduation ceremony of Fudiyyah School pupils which took place in Kano on Sunday.

Sheikh Zakzaky explained that, Nigerian leaders have rendered pursuit of education as a difficult venture and inaccessible to the poor.

Hezbollah Announces Names of Martyrs Killed in Israeli Raid in Quneitra

Hezbollah announced on Sunday the martyrdom of
six fighters in an Israeli air attack in the Syrian
province of Quneitra.
An Israeli helicopter fired missiles on Sunday at a
group of Hezbollah fighters who were inspecting the
town of Mazraat al-Amal in the Syrian Quneitra
region, the statement said. The attack resulted in
the martyrdom of six Hezbollah members whose
names were announced in the following statement:

61 children of Fudiyyah Schools Memorized the Holy Qur'an (Pictures)

A total of sixty-one (61) children of Fudiyyah Primary Schools memorized the holy Qur'an. The graduation ceremony took place at Filin Dala ground, Kano on Sunday the 27th of R/Auwal 1436 (18th of Jan., 2015).

The children are drawn from four different Schools run by the Islamic Movement as follows: 38 students from Fudiyyah Rijiyar Lemo, Kano; 15 from Fudiyyah Shanono Local Govt., Area, Kano state; 4 from Fudiyyah School Kwana Hudu, Kano and 4 from Fudiyyah School Suleja.

Charlie Hebdo: Sheikh Zakzaky Condemns Blasphemous Cartoon

Lending his voice to the global concern by Muslims over the
blasphemous publication by a Paris- based magazine, Charlie Hebdo on the personality of the
Prophet of Islam, Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky says, the publication was
another way of striking at the inner core sensibility of Islam and Muslims.

At the grand celebration of birthday of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Maulud Nabiy) ceremony in Zaria, Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Yaqoub Zakzaky has debunked the wrong perception that Islam triumphed with sword.

 

His Eminence further explained that, Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) fought imposed wars by enemies of Islam, to the extent that he was driven out of Makkah to Medina. “Even while in exile, he was not left alone, yet he continued to exhibit good conduct which won hearts of many people to Islam”.

The parade competition between Fudiyyah Schools held on the fifth day (i.e) Wednesday 16th Rabi’ul Auwal, 1436AH (7/1/2015) of the on going unity week organized annually by the Islamic movement in Nigeria, the fudiyyah schools were divided in to 14 zones, the parade took place at polo ground beside Husainiyya Baqiyatullah Zaria in the afternoon. Prizes were presented to the first three wining schools. Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky stresses importance of unity among Muslims

Sunday 13th Rabi’ul Auwal, 1436 (4/1/2014) is the second day of the ongoing unity week organized annually by the islamic movement in Nigeria under the guardianship of his eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) at Husainiyya Baqiyatullah Zaria.
In the evening session of the second day, Liman Musa Tanimu from Kaduna spoke on the contribution of youth in the Islamic revolution.
