Our silence does not mean that we have forgotten everything: Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky at Mbormi

On Sunday 26th Safar, 1435 (29th December 2013) is the final day in the annual conference organized by the academic forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria to commemorate the 110th year of the martyrdom of Caliph Attahiru and his armies at Mbormi, the closing program was held at Mbormi the place where the Caliph and his armies were killed by the colonist. A series of displays were carried out including a parade from the Bajoga Fudiyya students and the Hurras of the Islamic movement.

Islamic Thought: If Nigeria will continue to be in existence it will only exist to serve the selfish interest of the ancestors of the country by Sheikh Zakzaky at Gombe State.

This is the summary of the lecture delivered by the leader of the Islamic movement in Nigeria sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky(H) on Saturday 28th December, 2013. In the ongoing annual conference organized by the academic  forum of the Islamic movement in Nigeria at Gombe state of Nigeria to commemorate the 110th year of the martyrdom of caliph Attahiru amadu. The 6 day Arbaeen symbolic trek from kano to Zaria ends with a huge success, the trekking kikck off on Wednesday18th December 2013 qnd reached Zaria on Tuesday 24th December 2013, during the 6 day trekking, members of the Islamic movement in Nigeria have passed the message of ahlul byt and also told them the calamities that the ahlul byt (a.s) were put into after the wafat of the holy prophet (sawa) to the residents of the towns and villages the trekkers passed through in their trekking, they also told the residents of the aims and objectives of leader of the Islamic movement in Nigeria She

Our trekking from distances to this place (Husainiyyah Baqiyyatullah, Zaria) is our way of saying “Ya laitana kunna ma’akum “ (We wish we were with you): Sheikh Zakzaky at Yaumul Arbaeen

Millions of people attended the annual Arbaeen Commemoration of Imam Husain (A.S.) in Zaria. The members of Islamic Movement in Nigeria trekked a symbolic trek for days to Zaria from various places across Nigeria. They converged at Polo ground adjacent to Baqiyyatullah Husainiyyah on Tuesday the 20th of Safar 1435 (24/12/13). The city of Zaria was stand still on the Tuesday due to a massive gathering of people never seen in recent years. Flags of different colours and inscriptions such as ‘ya Husain’ in Arabic were raised in the sky.

Today 24/12/2013, millions of members of Islamic movement in  Nigeria from different part of the country, that include; Abuja, Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Jos, Sokoto, Niger, Lagos among others and nebouring countries that joined their closer cities to take part in the symbolic trek to Husainiyya Baqiyyatulla zaria. Lepers, Christians and non-shia Muslims are among the trekkers. The event at Husainiyya comprises of; Drama presentation, condolence poems and Arba’een lecture by Maulana Shiekh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H).

The 6th day Arbaeen trekking began from Ruma by 6.30am on Monday 19th safar, 1434. (23rd December 2013), the mourners was about to reach Zaria, they stay at Zabi and hope to reach zaria on Tuesday to attend the annual Yaumul Arbaeen Lecture that will be delivered by the leader of the Islamic movement in Nigeria Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky (H). The number of the perticipants continue increasing in a geometric progression.

The trekking began from Kunkumi and end up in Ruma on sunday 22nd December, 2013. The trekking was attended by a multiple of those that initiated the trekking from Kano. the brothers continue asisting the sisters in taking care of their kids, and also the residents of the towns continue to come out in mass to witness the passing of the mourners. you can view some of the pictures of those that participated in today's tekking.

Today Sunday 22 December, 2013, Hundred of thousands members of the Islamic movement in Nigeria under the leadership of Shiekh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) from different part of the country that includes; Abuja, Lagos, Minna, Suleja among others, all dressed in black, begin their symbolic trek from Kaduna state tradesfair earlier this morning to Husainiyya Baqiyyatullah Zaria for Yaumul-arb’een( the 40th day after the martyrdom of Imam Husain As).

Today Saturday 21st December 2013 is the fourth day in the ongoing Arbaeen symbolic trek from kano to Zaria, the trekkers left Kwanan Dangora in Kano state by 7.30am and reached Kunkumi in Kaduna state by 5.00pm where they will take a rest and continue trekking tomorrow, brothers also help the sisters by collecting their babies for them. Arba'een Walk, The Aftermath Of Ashura

The tradition of Arbaeen started in the year 61 A.H immediately after the matyrdom of Imam Husain (a.s) and his 72 companions at Karbala, by the famous companion of the prophet, Jabir bin Abdullah al Ansari (r.a) accompanied by by Attiyah al Awfi, Jabir was blind therefore Attiyah al Awfi is in his company,Attiyah led Jabir to river Euphrate (Furat), where he take a ritual bath and wear on his best cloths.

Three bomb attacks have killed more than 35 Shia pilgrims and injured scores of others in areas south of the Iraqi capital Baghdad.

In the deadliest attack on Thursday, a bomber killed over 20 people and injured 40 others in Dura region.

At least eight people lost their lives and 32 others sustained injuries as another bomber blew up his explosives in Yusifiyah.

A third bomber killed at least eight and injured 18 others in Latifiyah.

State organizations in Saudi Arabia have desecrated the Holy Qur'an by discarding over fifty copies in Taif city’s street sewerage canals.

According to a Saudi official in the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, the incident was reported by a local student, who saw the holy books on his way home in Al-Salama district of Taif.

A photo that shows desecrated books has now gone viral on the internet and social media websites.

Yaumul Arbaeen

Arba'een (ﺍﻷﺭﺑﻌﻴﻦ "forty") "the fortieth day"), is a Muslim religious observance that occurs 40 days after the Day of Ashura . It commemorates the martyrdom of Hussein bin Ali(as) the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad(saw) which falls on the 20th day of the month of Safar . Imam Husayn and 72 companions were martyred in the Battle of Karbala in the year 61 AH (680 CE), killed by Yazid I 's army. Arba'een is also observed 40 days after the death of a family member or loved one. Forty days is the usual length of the time of mourning in many Islamic cultures.

Arbaeen symbolic trek from kano to zaria continues in the early hours of today Thursday 16th Safar, 1435 equivalent to 19th December 2013, the second day trek began from kura and end up at Tashan Dogo a distance of about 20km, during the trekking the trekkers branched at chiromawa to pray their zuhur and asr and also take their lunch, the number of those who participated in the trek increases because members of the Islamic movement that based in the towns and villages around the route that lead from kano to zaria also join their clique when they reached them at their respect

The early hours of Wednesday 15th safar 1435 equivallent to 18th December 2013, hundreds of thousands of the members of the Islamic movement in Nigeria began the annual arbaeen symbolic treck from fagge jummuat mosque in the city of Kano to Hussainiyya Baqiyyatullah zaria, the trek was attended by the different members of the movement including children, youths, and old age which came from the various part of the country which include kano, malam madori, kazaure, Azare, Potiskum Maiduguri and some other parts of the North western part of Nigeria.

People from different Muslim countries embark on mass trek or march to Karbala to pay homage and respect to Imam Hussain (AH). MADIBA Nelson Mandela Dies at 95

Early life:
Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was born in Transkei, South Africa on July 18, 1918. His father was Hendry Mphakanyiswa of the Tembu Tribe. Mandela himself was educated at University College of Fort Hare and the University of Witwatersrand where he studied law. Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) read Nahjul Balagha lessons which normally takes place every monday by 4:30pm at Husainiyya Baqiyyatullah, Zaria.

Sheihk Ibraheem Zakzaky led the Maghrib and Isha'i prayer, Ziyaratu Ashurs followed by the closing prayer.
