Academic & Youth Forum Potiskum Organized Islamic Vacation Course (I.V.C)
Academic Forum with collaborate Youth Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Potiskum Chapter Organized 9th Islamic Vacation Course (IVC) for the Students of Secondary Schools at Fudiyya Islamic School Potiskum. The program kick-off on Saturday 19th August, 2017, wrap 23rd August, 2017.
Opening remark was given by Malam Usman Jidda. While Malam Abdullahi Hassan Azare (who is about to become Hujjatul Islam) delivered the first lecture on the Obedience to Parents: A Sure Key to Paradise.
On the second day, Mr. Magaji Manu from (C.O.E) Gashua, delivered his lecture on the Academic Prospects and Challenges ahead of Muslims Students. Malam Salihu Sakafa delivered the second lecture on Seekings for Knowledge, a Primary Obligation to all Muslims. The third lecture was delivered by Malam Salisu Galadima on the Life History of Sayyida Fatima Ma'asuma, the Daughter of Imam Musa (A.S).
On the third day, Malam Haruna Adnan from FCE (T) Potiskum, delivered his lecture on the Western Civilization and its Effects on Muslims Youths. The second speaker, Malam Ali Baburo delivered his lecture on the Dangers in Adolescence Period and its Way Out. The third speaker Malam Umar Abdullahi delivered his lecture on the Happenings in the Contemporary World.
On the fourth day, Mathematics and English Classes were conducted by Abubakar Tahir Isah, Musa Mai Dala, Hussaini Zubairu, Babangida Ahmed, Abdullahi Bulama and Lawan Ishiyaku Galo. In the evening, lecture on Fiqhu and Akida was given by Malam Abdulkadir Muhammad and Malam Bala Afuwa respectively.
Wednesday 23rd August, 2017 marks the last and the closing day. A lecture on the Importance of Science and Technology in the Contemporary World was delivered by Dr Ibraheem Bomai, followed by the Closing Lecture which was given by Malam Ibraheem Lawan. The Closing lecture touched various aspects of the topics delivered in the IVC.
The participants in this IVC emanate from Potiskum, Damaturu, Dawasa, Gashua, Gaidam, Fika, Gadaka (in Yobe State), Nafada (Gombe State), Dagauda, Dambam, Bilkachuwa (Bauchi State) and Maiduguri (Borno State).
