6th Meeting of the Islamic Awakening Supreme Council, Tehran, Iran
According to the World Assembly of Islamic Awakening, former Iraqi Prime Minister Ibrahim Jafari the head of the meeting of the Supreme Council of Islamic Awakening in Tehran welcomed the participants and also said that Islamic Awakening movements overthrowing unpopular regimes and achieved great results but enemies try to change this trend.
He added that “in this condition we decided to hold the meeting to share our ideas”.
Dr.Jafari also said that “we try to accomplish some ways to help us to face challenges and changes”.
Dr.Ramadan Abdollah a member of the Supreme Council for the Islamic Awakening as the first speaker at the 6th meeting of the of Islamic Awakening that started work Monday morning in Tehran referring to the Islamic awakening in the region and said achievements and victories of Islamic Awakening movement that toppled occurred with will of people and this was an important event.
But forgetting the achievements of the revolution and agreement with autocratic regimes are two things that threat this movement.
He also talk about Syria and said that Syria crisis has become a constant battle scene.
Dr.Ramadan Abdollah said that we should know that a military solution is not possible in Syria and the only solution to the Syrian crisis is political.
The Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky said that Iran is the pioneer of Islamic Awakening and this incident occurred when African and the African Arabic countries were under the influence of imperialism.
He also mentioned the regrettable situation in South Sudan and massacre of Muslims in Central Africa and noted the need for unity among religions.
He spoke on the need for the assembly to give the right direction to the uprisings in the Islamic world so that it would not be misled. He also said the correct way to follow in reviving Islamic system is the one followed bby Imam Khomeini(QS). He also said all conflicts in the world is instigated by American and Zionist and the western world to steal the resources in those areas. Eg. Sudan, Central African Republic and Nigeria.
He spoke on the Boko Haram conspiracy, mentioning that the extremism and terrorism in Islamic regions spoken of by the media is just a conspiracy by the enemies of Islam and they intentionally engineer it to look as if all terrorist are trying to establish an Islamic state in their respective regions, in order to make people that are unaware of what is actually going on despise Islam.
Sheikh Naim Qassem the deputy secretary general of the Lebanese in the 6th meeting of the Supreme Council for the Islamic Awakening said Takfiri should not destroy our unity and we should not let religious differences divide us and we should identify them we should not forget that Palestine is our priority
He said that we should show the true image of Islam to the world.
Sheikh Naim Qassem said our policy in Hezbollah is not to answer all the insults and destructive criticisms.
He also mentioned that some criticisms among parties are destructive and make happy the enemies. We cannot prevent differences but we have to maintain our unity. Takfiri should not destroy our unity and we should not let religious differences divide us and we should identify them but we should not forget that Palestine is our priority.
Sayyed Ammar Hakim, head of the Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council and a member of the Supreme Council of Islamic Awakening thanked Iran, Imam Khomeini and Imam Khamenei as the main supporters of Islamic Awakening and said the great the achievement, the obstacles you face is greater.
He said when we look to this movement may find some mistakes but we should not forget that we achieved clear horizons.
In this meeting important issues of the Islamic world and Islamic countries discussed and considered by more than fifty leading figures and influential personalities in the Islamic Awakening movement from various countries of Islamic awakening movement who attended the gathering.
Over the past few years, Iran has hosted several international conferences on the Islamic Awakening including “Islamic Awakening and Youth,” “Women and the Islamic Awakening” and “Muslim University Professors and Islamic Awakening”.
